First, I would like to share that I worked for Zone Marketing for about 4 months. I did decide to pursue other opportunities but it wasn't anything Zone Marketing did or didn't do.

They were straight forward about everything the company was about and what the goals were. I accepted the position because I felt like I could excel there. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I learned more in 4 months than anyone in the business world will learn in 4 years.

It was hard work, long hours, and sometimes very stressful, but I also averaged $600 a week with some weeks making over $1000. I left because it just didn't align with my long term goals. The people that fail or quit before they have given it a chance are the people that didn't want to work more than 40 hrs a week or didn't believe in their abilities to get the job done. instead of stating that in their review, they blame the company instead.

This is a legitimate business that will show and tell you everything about what the job duties entail. Overall it was a great experience and I encourage anyone to give it your best for a few months.

If it isn't for you then I guarantee you will have acquired skills that will make you attractive to new employers, but if you do decide that this is something you can see yourself doing long term, then 18 months after that first day, you can be your own boss, make a lot of money, and help others reach their goals too. Here is a much more accurate review of a company that will invest in their employees and work hard to help everyone succeed.

Who the heck WANTS to work more than 40 hours a week??? What a ridiculous thing to say!

Furthermore, who wants to work on 100% commission?

How can anyone plan a budget or be sure they are going to make rent for that month? Think before you speak!

I had a similar experience with Zone Marketing. I did an internship for 3 months over the summer.

They were completely upfront with me about the position and I learned more about business then my first 3 years at Central Michigan combined. Great entry level experience and I hope other people have the same opportunity I had.
